A DAY IN THE LIFE... FEB 8, 2007
Tried it again as part of the Day in the Life group on Live Journal...
5:30 - Get up and exercise. Chester joins me at the end for a little bit of
stretching together, then Raisin Bran for breakfast. Yum! I haven't had that in
months and months.
Chester says the blessing on his Cheerios.
Tie picture! (I think I'll make this a tradition on my ditls!)
Work today is going to be interesting as my boss is sick. Big thing we're doing today is
filming a little TV spot.
At lunch I wander around trying to find
a salon that'll take walk-ins (a rarity
around here to be sure) because I
need a hair cut (Why not a
barbershop? Because the
barbershops around here tend to be a
bit more ghetto). On the way I take a
picture of the big green fences they put
around every construction site, and
one of the ubiquitous money changing
stalls in the city. Finally I find a salon,
the Hollywood salon of beauty.
An hour or so before work lets out, I realize I don't know where my wedding
ring is. I was playing with it earlier in the afternoon and now it's nowhere to be
found. I panic a little and tell my wife before I get home to get it over with.
Everyone in the office helps me look, I check my pockets fifty times, but still no
sign of it by closing time.
There's enough daylight at closing time to actually take a picture! This is
exciting. Spring is just around the corner!
While I've been at work, Laura's taken a couple of pictures of Audrey and Chester.
They're so cute!
Some of our friends are singing in church on Sunday and I'm accompanying them, so we have them
over for dinner and a rehearsal. After dinner, we leave the dishes so that we have enough time to watch
a movie before bed...
Movie du jour is Hairspray. I had never seen it before and enjoyed it. Then
off to bed!
Before going to bed, I find my wedding ring on the floor of my room. It
must've been somewhere in my clothes and fell out when I was
changing out of my work clothes. I was most grateful to be married
again, and happy it didn't fall out on the Metro or some other
irrecoverable place.
