I've done it in the past, and I'm doing it again tonight. I just think that messing with the levels can make a picture so much more
interesting. In the example below, changing the levels makes my wife rather boring looking cutting mat (below) turn into TRON
(above). Me likey. Of course, if I had done something more interesting with the mat, maybe I wouldn't have had to resort to
messing with the levels!
