The top pic is my photo-a-day because I was very pleased with the end result. Not so much the pose (I think the hand on the face
is a little cheesy, frankly), but because of the fact that my lighting and camera settings were dead on (the only post work I did was a
little bit of acne removal), and the lighting achieved the effect I was trying to achieve, and because it's the most in focus self-portrait
that I've ever done. Simply put, I actually accomplished what I set out to do. Hooray! The bottom pic is actually a lot cuter. Audrey
is my perfect little studio assistant. She gets so excited whenever it's time to set up the studio. She runs to where I keep my light
cables and gaffer's tape and she just gets so excited. She always patiently poses for me while I check set up and camera settings.
Today she sat and watched my whole self-session. She was very amazed by the timer on the camera. And at the end I snatched
her up for a few pics. I thought this one turned out rather well. With both of them, however, I'm not certain whether I like them
better in color or in black and white. What do you think? (I put the black and white ones at the very bottom of the page.) In other
news, I did a 100 things page today. Read it if you like.
