Since I had the day off today (yup, another Ukrainian holiday), we decided to take a day trip to Chernigiv, about an hour and a half
outside Kyiv (and right next to Chernobyl) to see what we could see. We wandered around awhile, saw some churches and then
went to a pizza place for lunch. It was quite a lovely day. On the drive, we saw this big ball thingy on top of a light pole that looked
like a nest. I thought it couldn't possibly be one, but it was! There were actually quite a few stork nests all along the road. The
bottom pic is looking down the road from the nest so you can see the "natural" habitat these storks live in.
