My son is so funny. We took the car seats out of the car to prepare for picking up my folks from the airport tomorrow (They're
actually visiting us overseas!!). Chester wanted to sit in his as he watched a little show tonight, and insisted that the seat belt be
buckled. I tried once to unbuckle it and he said, "NO! SEATBELT!" In other news, we went to the doctor for check-ups today. They
had to draw some blood from the kids. Chester went first and came out (after many tears and screaming) with a cool Garfield
band-aid. Audrey got excited about the band-aid. We went back and she was just about to get pricked when she said, in a very
plaintive voice, "I don't want a cool band-aid." Poor girl. She was very brave, though and didn't go into hysterics. She just hugged
me very tightly. I was very proud of her.
