Well, we made it to Stockholm safe and sound! The biggest mishap was when I left my wallet at the security checkpoint in
Copenhagen, but, after recovering it, everything else went smoothly. The kids actually didn't do too badly, and I just have to say
that I LOOOOOVE SAS. They were so good to the kids, and gave them things to play with, and good kids meals (better than ours!)
and it was just nice. Of course, as soon as we got in the car, both kids conked out, but that's to be expected. For now our house is
big and empty as we await our stuff. It will probably take a couple of weeks. Fortunately, my job has loaned us some interim IKEA
furniture! We also took a walk around the neighborhood today and saw some Swedish flags flying and we had Swedish meatballs
for dinner to celebrate our first day here. Wahoo!
Note: It turns out that we adjusted to the time change fairly readily. One of the "best" jet lag experiences I can have (if you can say
that any jet lag experiences are good!)
