We got up very dark and early today (thanks to Glen! We slept through the alarm...) to catch a flight to Disneyland! The kids were
so excited. We had a park hopper pass, so decided to spend the day at California Adventure. Neither Laura nor I had been there
before. It was fun. We saw the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show, went to the parade, and had a character dinner (with five different
princesses!) The picture of Chester with Goofy is indicative of how he was meeting every character the entire trip. Laura and I also
took advantage of the Single Rider option to each go on the California Screamin' roller coaster. That was a blast. I hadn't been on
a roller coaster since I was 12, I think (I mean a real one. Space Mountain and Thunder Mountain don't count.) The kids and I
waved bye to Laura and then later watched her go upside down. At the end of the day we hopped on over to Disneyland (it's open
later) and rode "Small World" for Chester. Then we stumbled back to the hotel and crashed. :)
