Back to Photo-a-Day Home
Today was a big day, for all of us.  Laura took the kids to library story hour while I was at work, and then after work we traveled up to
Bethesda, MD to eat dinner with some friends of ours from Kyiv.  The top pic was taken while we were waiting for our friends, and
although I don't know what he's looking at, I think the picture of Chester is funny.  The restaurant had a cool tortilla maker and the
kids enjoyed watching it make the tortillas.  Finally, there's a picture of Chester riding the Metro on the way home.  Besides that (I
know, so many pictures today!), I know you all have been wondering where the pictures of DC are.  After all, I've been here for a
whole week already.  Well, I also took the bottom two pics on the National Mall today.  The top is the Washington Monument, and the
bottom is the spot where I ate lunch, right down the road from the Capitol Building.  A special shout out to my brother-in-law who
became a daddy today!  His daughter, Afton Elaine, can be seen
